ESMERALDA FIGUEROA

I am Esmeralda Figueroa. I was born in Culiacan, Sinaloa Mexico. At the young age of 10 years old my mother and I came to the United States and have lived in the Coachella Valley now for 21 years. I am blessed to be married to my wonderful husband Alejandro for 13 years and a mother of our four precious children - Damaris, Delilah, Sophia and Issac, ages 13-6 years old.

Growing up in a fatherless home, my teenage life could be described as roaming without direction. As a teen seeking the meaning to life, I found wrong answers in the wrong places. The Lord Jesus found me still roaming at the age of 22 and His grace lavished my life with all the right answers. The most important answer is and always will be, "JESUS".  I now find joy in seeking out little children and directing them to the one true answer, "JESUS" through the teaching of the Word of God.

In 2019 I was blessed to be part of the VBS with Tesoro as a volunteer. Becoming the newest member of the Tesoro Club staff in 2021 has been a response to my prayers. The ministry that is done to teach, serve, and love our little friends in the east valley is amazing. God is serving these children and families and we get to be His Hands and Feet.  Thank you JESUS!!!
