LUCIO AND AILIN VASQUEZ

My name is Lucio Vasquez. I was born and raised in the eastern part of the Coachella Valley. I am the father of four awesome kids, Alex, Brianna, Lucio & Levi. I been married to my wonderful wife Ailin for 21 years.

I came to the Lord and gave my life to Him 14 years ago. In 2014 the Lord called me to full time ministry. I sold my home in La Quinta and left my career. My family and I moved into the area where I am serving. The desire the Lord put in my heart was to teach His Word and disciple His saints. I began home Bible studies in Spanish and English.

I would occasionally serve in Tesoro Club before I went full time in the ministry. I now have the honor to be part of this group of servants dedicated to discipling kids and youth. My desire is to connect these kids and their parents to Jesus and His Word.

I am Ailin, Lucio's wife. I came to the United States at 14 trying to find a better life. I had an encounter with the Lord that changed my life forever when I received Him as my Lord and Savior. Because I did not have a stable home during my teen years, the Lord has given me a heart to share the Hope that we have in Christ. I was introduced to Tesoro Club in 2011 and in 2014 began to serve as a volunteer. In 2022 I came on staff to assist with the elementary age group alongside the children's director and assist in a variety of ways such as picking up kids and transporting to club; counseling at summer camp; enforcing the Bible lesson during Kids Club through arts and crafts and other ways as needed. It is truly an amazing privilege to serve along side my wonderful husband and love on these kids. The Lord gave us a calling to reach, teach, plant and serve and I am so grateful to be apart of this ministry to make disciples and serve with an amazing group of servants.
