BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our board of directors are more than just a group of advisors - they are part of the Tesoro family. Their desire is to see the Lord's work continue to grow in the East Valley and they bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. Tesoro Club is blessed to have these men and women actively engaged and involved in our day to day ministry in different and vital capacities.

I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior at the age of 18 at a senior high camp in the San Bernardino Mountains. I married my high school sweetheart and we had 2 children and 6 grandchildren after more than 50 years of marriage. I retired from the Morton Salt Company after 26 years of service and have served the Lord most of my adult life through the local church and other Christian organizations. I served as a board member of the National Youth Network and served as President of Christian Missionary Pilots. Currently at my local church I serve on the mission committee and chairman of the finance committee. I believe that children are the key to our future and Jesus Christ is the way. Through Tesoro club we have the opportunity to reach many children through our soccer program, kids club, vacation Bible school, and summer camps. I count it a privilege to be a small part of all that God is doing through the Tesoro Club.

I would describe myself as an older, retired, white haired man who loves the Lord, his wife and his family. I serve with the Tesoro Club so the youth of the East Valley will have the same opportunity to experience that love through the teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!

I grew up and lived most of my life in the Coachella Valley. In the summer of my seventh grade, my softball teammate and best friend invited me to youth group at Trinity Baptist Church in Indio and I accepted Jesus Christ as my LORD and Savior. A few years after graduating from Indio High School, I moved to Riverside for six and a half years working for GTE and then moved back to the desert in 1986 to run my father’s autobody business. I married my wonderful husband in 1988 and in 1993 rededicated my life to Jesus and committed to serve in Junior High Ministry at my church. I graduated from BIOLA University with a bachelor’s degree in Organization Leadership in 2005. I am currently the Area Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child for the Coachella/Yucca Valley area. I volunteered at Jordan Outreach for ten years and was a Big Sister for Big Brother Big Sister for twelve years. I have been a volunteer with Junior High students at Tesoro Kids Club for thirteen years, and I love it! I truly believe that God has called me to minister to Junior High students because like me, I was hungry for the truth and wanted a relationship with Jesus Christ.
